670 players enter the Hai Duong Newspaper Cup Chess Tournament for children and youth groups

On the morning of August 15, Hai Duong Newspaper and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened the 12th Hai Duong Newspaper Cup Chess Tournament for children and youth groups in 2024 at Hai Duong Sports Gymnasium.

This is an annual tournament, however, the referee team needs to uphold the sense of responsibility, conduct the tournament fairly and objectively, ensuring the tournament takes place safely and in accordance with the regulations. At the same time, he acknowledged the companionship of Prudential Insurance in this year's tournament as well as in the past.

The players were selected from clubs, localities, and units with strong movements such as Blue Horse, Hai Duong City, Chi Linh City, Nam Sach, Tu Ky, Kim Thanh, etc.

The youngest group in this year's tournament is 6-year-old players.
