From Cam Giang to Gia Loc illegally mining sand, fined 44 million VND

Decision to punish Mr. Dang Van Tiep in Cam Doai commune (Cam Giang)

At around 11:30 p.m. on March 24, in the Ke Sat River area of ​​Hung Long village, Yet Kieu commune (Gia Loc), Mr. Tiep exploited 9.8 cubic meters of sand and gravel without a license. Mr. Tiep did not have a vehicle registration certificate, a vehicle technical safety and environmental protection certificate; and hired and employed crew members without a certificate of professional competence or professional certificate.

The above actions of Mr. Tiep violated the provisions of Decree No. 04/2022/ND-CP on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the decrees on administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of land, water resources and minerals, hydrometeorology, surveying and mapping; Decree No. 139/2021/ND-CP of the Government regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the field of inland waterway traffic.

In addition to the fine, Mr. Tiep also had all illegally exploited minerals confiscated; the means used to commit the violation confiscated; was forced to return the minerals obtained from the illegal act; and had to pay the costs of requesting appraisal, testing, measurement and verification.
