"Descendants of the Sun" Vietnamese version is the first Vietnamese TV series to be copyrighted for broadcast in China.
The original Descendants of the Sun, starring two famous actors Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, became a television craze across Asia. After the original aired, Vietnamese producers quickly bought the copyright to remake it.

Descendants of the Sun Vietnamese version is one of the most passionate fan-favorites on Vietnamese screens recently. Fans even come to the set, give coffee trucks, gifts and interact directly with the production crew. This is the first time in Vietnam that a film crew has received coffee trucks from the audience, although in Korea this is already very familiar.
The work was once purchased by one of China's largest online movie viewing services, IQIYI, for rebroadcasting. This is the first Vietnamese TV series to be purchased for broadcast in China.
Descendants of the Sun Vietnamese version will air on SCTV6-FIM360 channel, starting from October 1.
