Ticket issuance for qualifying matches of AFC U23 Championship 2024

Vietnam U23 team falls into a relatively favorable group (Group C) in the 2024 AFC U23 Qualifiers

According to the Organizing Committee, in order to facilitate people, agencies and units to buy tickets to watch live matches in the qualifying round of the Asian U23 Football Championship taking place on September 6, 9 and 12 at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho province), the Vietnam Football Federation decided to sell tickets directly at the counter and sell tickets via official dispatch.

Ticket sales are open from 9am to 5pm from September 3rd to 12th at the Organizing Committee's ticket counter at the main gate of Phu Tho Provincial Sports Stadium. Ticket sales may end early if tickets are sold out.

For ticket sales via official dispatch, the Vietnam Football Federation authorizes the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province to be the focal point to receive and summarize the number of tickets registered via official dispatch from departments, branches, sectors, and organizations of the province; People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities.

After receiving the documents from the units, the Department will synthesize based on the number of issued tickets and the actual needs of the units. The Federation will balance and decide on the specific quantity purchased for each unit.

Vietnam Football Federation issues all tickets for matches; with one purchase, spectators can buy tickets for all matches.

The 2024 AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers in Phu Tho province will have 6 matches, organized in three sessions, with two matches per session; one ticket allows you to watch two matches in one session. The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased is four per person, with ticket prices of 200,000, 100,000 and 50,000 VND/ticket.

The Group C qualifying round of the 2024 AFC U23 Championship will take place from September 6-12 at Viet Tri Stadium with the participation of four U23 teams: Singapore, Guam, Yemen and host Vietnam.

The teams compete in a round-robin format, selecting a first-place team and competing for one of the four second-place positions in the remaining 10 groups with the best results to participate in the Final Round with host U23 Qatar.

According to plan, the Vietnam U23 team will arrive in Viet Tri City on August 30 and will begin training immediately after that under the guidance of coach Philippe Troussier.

The U23 Vietnam team will have their opening match against U23 Guam at 7:00 p.m. on September 6, against U23 Yemen at 7:00 p.m. on September 9, and against U23 Singapore at 7:00 p.m. on September 12.

To organize the matches well, the Organizing Committee assigned specific tasks to members and subcommittees; at the same time, agreed on plans to organize all matches at Viet Tri Stadium, ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention, medical work, etc.

The Organizing Committee also specifically noted that security forces should proactively prepare plans to lead the delegation and teams during the official competition days. Specialized departments should review and prepare well the conditions of sound, light, and equipment at Viet Tri Stadium, ensuring the conditions for organizing the competition according to international standards.

Press and media agencies promote information and propaganda on mass media about the tournament to attract the attention of fans and the masses, contributing to building the image of the homeland as a safe, friendly and attractive destination for domestic audiences and international tourists.
