Bac A Hai Duong Bank won second prize in the gender equality contest

Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Hai Duong branch, has just won second prize in the first gender equality contest organized by this banking system.

Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Hai Duong branch, won the second prize "orange mark" in the first gender equality contest organized by the entire banking system.

Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank has just announced and awarded the contest for gender equality called “Bac A Bank”. Among 55 branches nationwide and 8 blocks/departments/offices of the headquarters, Bac A Bank Hai Duong branch is 1 of 2 units that won the second prize.

This contest was first organized by the entire Bac A Bank system to respond to the campaign on gender equality and ending violence against women and girls.

During the contest, from November 15 to December 10, 2023, Bac A Bank Hai Duong branch decorated the orange corner, attracting dozens of check-ins (taking souvenir photos) from customers to share the campaign message with the hashtag (metadata tag, used on social networks) "#tocamcungBAB". Along with that, there were dozens of news and media articles posted on the branch's Facebook, personal Zalo of branch officers and employees; supporting tens of millions of VND to the support fund for victims of gender-based violence.

The contest "Browning oranges with Bac A Bank" includes 1 first prize "orange star", 2 second prizes "orange imprint", 3 third prizes "orange creativity", 4 consolation prizes "orange ambassador".

Since 2008, the UN Secretary-General has launched the UNiTE Campaign to raise awareness of violence against women and girls; and to renew advocacy efforts, knowledge sharing and innovation in solutions to end violence against women and girls.

In 2016, Vietnam responded to the UNiTE Campaign by implementing the "Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence", taking place from November 15 to December 15 every year.
