Russia continues to strengthen all-round relations with China after the conflict with Ukraine and relations with the West fell to their lowest level since the Cold War.

The Kremlin said on July 12 that Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to China is now on the agenda, stressing that now is the right time to develop the already strong relations between the two countries.
Speaking at a regular press conference, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the timing of the visit was being agreed upon and would be announced once decided.
According to Mr. Peskov, dialogue between the two countries continues at all levels. During Mr. Putin's planned visit to Beijing, the leaders of the two countries will focus on bilateral economic and trade cooperation and global issues.
