TASS news agency (Russia) quoted the press conference of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stating that conducting training in different regions is normal for all countries, especially for a large naval power like the Russian Federation.
Therefore, Moscow sees no reason for other countries to worry in this case.
Pentagon and State Department officials also said that Russia's activities were routine and did not pose any threat to the United States, and said that Cuba had hosted Russian warships every year from 2013 to 2020.
