Volleyball god makes women "fascinated"

Bui Tien Hieu (26 years old, from Hai Duong), is not only a volleyball player with impressive setter ability, but is also known as a handsome physical education teacher, loved by many students.

Played in many professional tournaments

As a sports lover, since middle school, watching his seniors play volleyball, coordinating with each other very attractively and harmoniously, Tien Hieu felt interested and started to practice playing. Nurturing that passion, when he went to university, he chose to study physical education, specializing in volleyball at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports.

“Every day, I always try to study hard, and in my free time, I go to the field to practice with my brothers and sisters and friends. In my second year, I was very surprised when I was selected to join the school volleyball team. This was a great opportunity and a turning point for me to be who I am today,” Tien Hieu recalled.

Up to now, he has competed in many major volleyball tournaments across the country. He once "joined" the Hai Duong Provincial Police team, participated in the national A-class volleyball tournament... "Every time I compete, especially away from home, I feel extremely happy and proud. Happy because everyone loves and cares for me. Proud because I always try to practice and accumulate from the smallest experiences. All are priceless opportunities that I cherish," he confided.

To achieve the achievements and experiences he has today, Tien Hieu had to go through many difficulties while practicing and competing. And injuries are what haunt him the most. Tien Hieu shared: “I have sprained my ankle three times, and each time, I had to stop practicing for quite a long time. It was extremely frustrating and uncomfortable!”

Love for teaching

In June 2017, Tien Hieu graduated from university. About two months later, he started working at Khuc Thua Du High School (Hai Duong) as a physical education teacher. He said: “In the first days of teaching, because I didn’t have much experience, I was quite nervous and confused. But gradually, teachers and students began to understand each other, confide in each other, talk to each other, and the children also liked me, I was very happy!”

For Tien Hieu, becoming a teacher, imparting knowledge and skills in physical education is an honor and an opportunity. Moreover, teaching is a noble profession that is respected by society, so he always reminds himself to strive to become an exemplary “ferryman”, devoting himself to the “career of educating people”.

He also expressed that he really wants everyone to have a more open view of this subject. Physical training activities are especially important in the development stage of each person, especially at school age. If we always consider physical education as a secondary subject and do not try to practice, it is really sad.

Currently, in addition to being a physical education teacher, Tien Hieu is also very active in the activities of the School Youth Union. He hopes that in the near future, he will always keep the fire of enthusiasm for the profession, if he has free time, he will definitely try his hand at business.
