Many cooperatives in Hai Duong province are actively taking care of vegetable gardens, urgently preparing agricultural products to serve consumer demand during the Tet holiday.

Duy Tan Clean Agricultural Products Cooperative (Kinh Mon) has prepared 23 tons of sticky rice for consumption during Tet. Currently, many people have ordered sticky rice from the cooperative as gifts. Due to the impact of storm No. 3, this year the cooperative's sticky rice is sold at 78,000 VND/2 kg bag, 13,000 VND/2 kg bag higher than last year.

According to the Duc Chinh Agricultural Service Cooperative (Cam Giang), due to the impact of storm No. 3, farmers planted carrots one month later than usual. Therefore, this year carrots will be harvested close to Tet. The cooperative currently has 360 hectares of carrots with 9 concentrated production areas, of which 90 hectares are certified to meet VietGAP standards. This year's carrot output is expected to reach about 15,000 tons, equivalent to last year.

This Tet holiday, Hoang Nam Phat Cooperative (Hai Duong City) is preparing 10,000 tons of agricultural products including winter vegetables, tubers, and fruits to serve the market. This is the cooperative with the largest export and consumption connection strength in the province. It is expected that in January 2025, the cooperative will export 500 tons of carrots to the Korean market by sea.
