According to the Hai Duong Province Hydrometeorological Station, the water levels of the Thai Binh and Kinh Thay rivers are currently decreasing, while the rivers in the downstream area are rising and falling due to the influence of the tide.

Water levels in Hai Duong rivers have gradually decreased since 10 p.m. on September 13. By 7 a.m. on September 14, only Kinh Mon River is above alert level III; Thai Binh River system is from above alert level II to below alert level III; Kinh Thay River is below alert level III; Gua River and Rang River are above alert level II, Luoc River is below alert level I.
Floods combined with high tides can cause the water levels of the Gua and Kinh Mon rivers in Hai Duong to rise faster.

According to the Hai Duong Province Hydrometeorological Station, at 10:00 a.m. on September 13, the Thai Binh, Kinh Thay, Kinh Mon, Rang, and Gua rivers were still at alert level III. The Thai Binh River at Pha Lai was close to alert level III. The Luoc River was above alert level I.
