Microsoft Edge has just updated the new split-screen web viewing feature but there is no widespread announcement to users.
Microsoft Edge browser is increasingly adding many useful and unique features to attract users. In addition to integrating Bing Chat artificial intelligence to support information search right on Edge, Microsoft has recently quietly added the ability to split the web browsing screen, serving users who need to consult multiple websites at the same time. Because the company has not announced it widely, it is possible that this is a feature in the limited testing phase.
To use it, users need to update Microsoft Edge on their computers to the latest version. Then, in the browser's address bar, paste the following command: edge://flags/#edge-split-screen (just copy and paste, clicking on the link has no effect) then press Enter. At this point, a new interface appears, users select "Enabled" in the highlighted line and then restart the browser.

After completing the above steps, a rectangular icon will appear in the toolbar (Menu bar). When you click on this, Microsoft Edge will automatically split into 2 screens displayed on the same window so that users can open 2 different websites and view them at the same time, instead of appearing in full screen and divided into different tabs or windows.
Additionally, Microsoft also offers the option to open links from one side of the screen to the other. This feature increases convenience for those who have to look up many different links in one interface, helping them to quickly view and change links without having to switch back and forth too much between link clicks.
To edit the size and magnitude of the interface, the user clicks and holds the mouse on the border between the two websites and drags it left or right until satisfied. Remember that expanding the screen of a website simultaneously narrows the interface of the side.
