On the morning of April 27, the general rehearsal of the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification took place on Le Duan Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The event gathered about 13,000 people from 48 groups, representing the armed forces, workers, farmers, intellectuals, youth and mass organizations.
From May 6 to June 5, it is expected to collect public opinions on amending the Constitution.

Presenting the topic of amending the Constitution and laws at the National Conference to disseminate and implement the Resolution of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee held on the morning of April 16, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that the public consultation on amending the Constitution is expected to take place from May 6 to June 5.
