Kinh Mon adds 7.8 billion VND to renovate sidewalks and plant trees on Thanh Nien Street

The project to renovate the drainage system, blocks, sidewalks, and trees on Thanh Nien Street is over 1 km long. The starting point is at the edge of Road 389, the end point is at the intersection of the road to Dinh Bridge. The project has a total investment of over 7.8 billion VND, from the town budget and capital supported by the province to implement projects to overcome environmental pollution in the area and other legal sources of income.

In recent years, this route has many degraded sections, causing traffic safety, urban aesthetics, and a lack of trees. The drainage system from the intersection of Hiep An gas station to the turn to Dinh bridge has many problems with wastewater, household waste, etc., causing air pollution, risk of flooding, and affecting residential areas.

This is the main route connecting Thuy Nguyen district (Hai Phong) with Kinh Mon town; it concentrates many agencies, units, and a large number of people and vehicles.

The investment in construction of the project aims to create a synchronous and spacious infrastructure system, contributing to improving people's lives.

At this meeting, the town also passed resolutions on supplementing the project list, supplementing capital and allocating capital for the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 and the 2023 public investment plan from the Kinh Mon town budget; investment policy for the project to dredge and reinforce the Phung Khac canal bank in Hiep Hoa and Thuong Quan communes.
