According to the Department of Industry and Trade, the value of Hai Duong's export goods in April was estimated at 891 million USD, an increase of 21.1% compared to April last year.
In the first 4 months of the year, exports are estimated at 3 billion 129 million USD, up 12% over the same period in 2023.
Currently, industrial production activities continue to maintain a fairly high growth rate. Enterprises are actively seeking and expanding markets for goods consumption and export markets, exploiting the advantages of free trade agreements signed by Vietnam such as: Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), Vietnam-European Union Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA)... These are the main reasons for the increase in the value of goods exports.
The province's import value in April was estimated at 677 million USD, up 10.8% over April last year. In the first 4 months of the year, the import value of goods was estimated at 2 billion 422 million USD, up 3.8% over the same period in 2023.
