Prosecution of F1 woman who stripped while being taken to centralized quarantine in Nghe An

Ms. H. stripped off her clothes and resisted the authorities from taking her to a centralized quarantine facility.

Dien Chau District Police, Nghe An has just announced that this unit has initiated a case and prosecuted Ms. HTH (48 years old, residing in Dien Ky Commune, Dien Chau District) to investigate the act of resisting a person on duty.

Previously, on the evening of August 23, despite having contact with an F0 that had been announced in the area, Ms. H. did not comply with centralized isolation measures as prescribed.

At this time, Ms. H. explained that her family had just built a new house and needed to stay to guard the house and asked to be quarantined at home.

Despite the authorities' persistent persuasion, persuasion, and explanations for more than 2 hours, Ms. H. locked the door and took actions such as stripping off her clothes and cursing the authorities on duty.

Afterwards, local police coordinated with the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control to force Ms. H. to be quarantined according to regulations.

Up to now, Nghe An has not applied F1 isolation at home.
