Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee requested Bkav to soon complete the proposal on provincial digital transformation.
On the afternoon of May 23, at the Eastern Cultural Center, the Department of Information and Communications chaired and coordinated with Bkav Joint Stock Company (Bkav) to organize a working session to unify a number of contents related to the implementation of the digital transformation project and digital data strategy of Hai Duong province.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee Nguyen Minh Hung highly appreciated the content and proposals on digital transformation and digital data strategy of Bkav. Emphasizing the need to assess the current state of digital transformation in the province, as well as considering the overall digital transformation roadmap of the country, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped that Bkav would soon survey and evaluate in order to propose solutions, architectural models, and implementation strategies suitable to the reality of Hai Duong. On that basis, a specific digital transformation plan for each year, each field, and each unit would be formed to ensure effective implementation.
Raising the issue of synchronization and accuracy in exploiting and using digital data warehouse, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Bkav to supplement relevant content to complete the detailed proposal, clearly stating each item, task, and implementation progress. From there, build a framework program on digital transformation, digital data strategy associated with the digital transformation plan goals built in 2023 and the implementation of Project 06. Thereby contributing to helping Hai Duong progress quickly, firmly, and effectively on the digital transformation roadmap.
Bkav Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Tu Quang presented some highlights in digital transformation and digital data strategy.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bkav Nguyen Tu Quang informed about the difference between digital transformation and information technology; the relationship between digital transformation and intelligent monitoring and operation centers (IOC), smart cities, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Regarding digital data strategy, Bkav representative proposed models on architecture, solutions of digital transformation, data warehouse management; some platforms such as cloud computing, integration, data sharing, monitoring, network information security management, digital maps, virtual assistants, etc.
Previously, at the working session on March 31, 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee agreed on a number of contents, including assigning Bkav to advise Hai Duong on building a digital transformation project and digital data strategy.
