Within the framework of the festival, there are also unique experiential tourism activities such as: linen weaving festival in Lung Tam and Can Ty communes; visiting Lung Khuy cave, Nam Dam village community tourism village; ethnic cultural festival in Quan Ba district; Lo Lo ethnic cultural festival in Meo Vac district; local culinary competition in the Old Quarter Market Yard; demonstration and experience of linen weaving stages; making household items and traditional ethnic musical instruments in the old quarter of Dong Van district.
Previously, to prepare for the festival, the province had planted and cared for flowers early with nearly 400 hectares of buckwheat flowers, focusing on the flowers blooming at the right time of the festival opening and lasting until the end of December. In particular, Dong Van district is the place where the most buckwheat flowers are grown with about 250 hectares on the roads of Pho La, Pho Bang, Pho Cao, Sung La, Thai Phin Tung, Lung Tao, Ma Le, Lung Cu. In Quan Ba district, the places with the most concentration of these flowers are the Heaven's Gate stop, Thach Son Than tourist area and the places with land areas along National Highway 4C.
