Director of the Provincial Police Department Bui Quang Binh awarded certificates of merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in the movement of the whole people to protect national security in 2022, including Hong Du commune.

Promoting the role of the Party Committee

Since 2021, in order to implement the model of the entire people protecting the national security as a model of Ninh Giang district, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Hong Du commune have issued resolutions and plans on leadership and direction to ensure security and order and widely deployed them in the political system and people. The Steering Committee for implementing the model has guided villages, agencies and enterprises located in the commune to continue implementing the Project "Building safe villages, safe residential areas; agencies and enterprises safe in terms of security and order", period 2020-2025. The Party Committee, government, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and mass organizations of the commune have actively promoted the above model and project through the commune's radio system, activities, announcements at meetings, conferences... The Party Committee requested the Commune People's Committee to direct the commune police force to launch peak campaigns to attack and suppress crimes and social evils; rectify and improve the effectiveness of administrative management measures such as registration, residence management, weapons and explosives management, patrol and control at complex security and order points...

According to comrade Nguyen Duc Trang, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Du commune, since the beginning of the term, the local Party Committee and government have focused on leading and directing the mobilization of the strength of the entire political system from the village to the commune and the entire local people have focused on implementing solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of the work of building the movement of the entire people to protect national security in the commune. Therefore, the security and order situation has been maintained, the people's lives have been increasingly improved and enhanced, and the new rural appearance has gradually improved.

People actively prevent crime

Mr. Hoang The Xuan (in Dau Tri village) commented: "People in the village and commune are very active in participating in movements launched by the locality, especially the movement for the whole people to protect national security. At local meetings, participants listen attentively, and when they return home, they propagate to their relatives and neighbors to work together to prevent crime."

Hong Du Commune Police actively mobilize people to participate in models to ensure security and order.

According to Major Nguyen Manh Hung, Head of Hong Du Commune Police, the movement of the whole people to protect national security in the locality is increasingly effective. “People comply with the law and enthusiastically participate in crime prevention. In 2022 alone, the Commune Police received 20 reports from the masses, of which 18 were valuable; promptly detected and resolved 8 cases, and advised the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee to send 2 people to apply educational measures in the commune. The police force and militia organized 320 shifts, organized 350 patrols in the area, contributing to Hong Du continuing to achieve a safe commune in terms of security and order, contributing to achieving the criteria of an advanced new rural commune,” said Major Hung.

The commune police also proactively coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and commune organizations to organize 12 propaganda sessions for more than 2,300 people, mobilizing people to implement and replicate skillful mass mobilization models such as "Self-management group on security and order", "Cultural communication and behavior in receiving people, handling administrative procedures"... In particular, the model of "Propaganda on crime prevention via Zalo social network" has developed rapidly with a total of more than 1,000 members interacting in two ways, helping to grasp events right from the beginning...

The commune maintains 7 mediation teams with 72 mediators in the villages, contributing to maintaining solidarity among the people. In 2022 alone, 6 conflicts in families and villages were successfully mediated, preventing complications from arising.

With the achieved results, the people and cadres of Hong Du commune were awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of Public Security for their outstanding achievements in the movement of the whole people to protect national security in 2022.
