Many forces and water commandos were mobilized to search for a 25-year-old man who slipped and fell into the sea and was swept away by waves and went missing in Ninh Thuan.
At noon on September 21, a group of 4 friends from Lam Dong province went to Ninh Thuan for a trip.
The group went to Phuoc Dinh beach in Thuan Nam district to visit and take photos. This area often has big waves hitting the rocky shore, but it always attracts many people for picnics.
While taking souvenir photos, Mr. C.D.D. (25 years old) slipped and fell into the sea and was swept away by the waves. The group members split up to search around the area where Mr. D. had the accident but found no trace, so they asked the local authorities for help.
Authorities, border guards and the 5th Special Water Brigade (based in Ninh Thuan province) with 20 officers and soldiers dived and searched for the victim.
Identifying characteristics of the victim: 1m50 tall, weighs about 60kg, short black hair, has a mole 1cm from the right lip, wears a blue shirt with white stripes, and black shorts.
So far, forces are still searching for victims.
