Hai Duong connects innovative startups to mobilize capital and borrow capital

On the afternoon of July 5, the Department of Science and Technology coordinated with the National Innovation Center (NIC), the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Impact Investment Fund (IIX), and the Hai Duong Province Young Entrepreneurs Association to organize a seminar to connect investment for businesses and innovative startups in Hai Duong province.

Speaking at the seminar, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Quan affirmed that innovative startups have become an important driving force for socio-economic development. In recent years, Hai Duong province has implemented many policies and guidelines of the Central Government on supporting and encouraging innovative startups. The province has also proactively issued mechanisms and policies to maximize its inherent potential and advantages, while taking advantage of the achievements of the fourth industrial revolution to gradually realize development goals. In particular, a number of mechanisms and policies have been issued to support the development of science, technology and innovation activities in Hai Duong province, the Projects: "Supporting the innovative startup ecosystem in Hai Duong province in the period of 2019-2025"; "Improving productivity and quality of products and goods for enterprises in Hai Duong province in the period of 2021-2030"...

This seminar is one of the events that shows the interest of agencies and units in the province in the province's innovative start-up activities, and at the same time creates momentum for all levels, sectors, managers, scientists, and the business community in Hai Duong to further promote the innovative start-up movement. This is also a forum to create an environment to promote investment and attract resources for innovative start-up activities of enterprises. From there, forming innovative thinking in production and business activities, creating a breakthrough in the way of doing things associated with the current trend of applying high technology and digital transformation.

Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Quan believes that with the experience and intelligence of experts, managers, and business owners participating in the seminar, they will contribute to promoting the development of Hai Duong's innovative startup ecosystem in accordance with the practical requirements of the province. Through the seminar, it is possible to initially introduce and connect innovative startup projects of enterprises in the province to reach investors and investment funds; mobilize and unlock resources, contributing to making Hai Duong a province with many breakthroughs and highlights in developing the knowledge economy, digital economy, and pioneering in innovation activities.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Quan hopes that start-up funds, investors, and investment funds will pay attention to supporting the development of Hai Duong's innovative start-up ecosystem; nurturing dreams, giving wings to start-up ideas, promoting start-ups, expanding markets; researching and applying new economic models, green economy, circular economy, digital economy into practice; managing, using resources reasonably, effectively, and sustainably, protecting the environment, biodiversity, and adapting to climate change.

It is recommended that the Department of Science and Technology and the Hai Duong Province Young Entrepreneurs Association absorb the opinions of the delegates at the seminar, compile them into documents for research and continue to advise the province on policies and strategies to support and encourage innovative start-up businesses in the most effective way.
