Gold ring price skyrockets, setting new peak

The price of gold rings of all brands today all increased sharply, far exceeding the mark of 59 million VND/tael (selling price).

Specifically, at 3:36 p.m. today, the price of 9999 gold rings of type 1-5 was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) in Ho Chi Minh City at 58.35-59.35 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 500,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the closing price yesterday.

SJC bought and sold 9999 gold rings of 0.5 taels at 58.35-59.45 million VND/tael, also increasing 500 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price.

The price of gold rings of DOJI Gold and Gemstone Group also increased far beyond the mark of 59 million VND/tael (selling). At 4:00 p.m. on October 26, the price of gold rings was listed by DOJI at 58.65-59.45 million VND/tael (buying - selling).

Similarly, the price of gold rings of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) also increased sharply. The price of gold rings of PNJ listed in Ho Chi Minh City at 3:23 p.m. on October 26 was VND58.2-59.3 million/tael, an increase of VND300,000/tael in both buying and selling compared to the closing price yesterday.

The difference between the buying and selling price of gold rings currently fluctuates between 800,000 VND and 1.1 million VND/tael.

Recently, the price of gold rings has increased sharply and continuously set new peaks. The domestic gold ring price today set a new record when it surpassed the 59 million VND/tael mark. Compared to the beginning of the year, the price of SJC gold rings has increased by about 5.15 million VND/tael.

Following the same trend, domestic gold bar prices also increased sharply today.

As of late this afternoon, the price of SJC gold bars in Hanoi increased by 400,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price, trading at 70.05-70.77 million VND/tael (buying - selling).

Meanwhile, the price of DOJI gold bars at the end of today's session in Hanoi increased by 450 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price, being bought - sold at 69.95 - 70.75 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Above In the international market, gold prices today increased sharply again despite the negative impact of the strengthening USD. Gold increased mainly due to the high demand for this commodity as a safe haven as the world economy is forecast to remain unstable after unpredictable geopolitical fluctuations and a changing world order.

At 4:00 p.m. on October 26 (Vietnam time), the world spot gold price was at 1,992.2 USD/ounce, up 17.2 USD/ounce compared to last night.

The world gold price converted at the current exchange rate at Vietcombank is nearly 59.5 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees), 11.27 million VND/tael lower than the price of SJC gold bars.
