According to a quick report from the provincial Tax Department, Ford Vietnam has the highest budget contribution among the 7 key enterprises of Hai Duong.
Accumulated from January 1 to February 20, 2024, Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. paid nearly VND 809 billion to the state budget, the highest among the 7 key enterprises in terms of budget payment in the province, accounting for more than 76% of the total budget payment of this group. Ranked second is Hoa Phat Steel Joint Stock Company with more than VND 120 billion, accounting for more than 11%.
Regarding import and export, although Ford Vietnam's cumulative import and export turnover from the beginning of the year to February 19, 2024 reached nearly 48 million USD, equivalent to nearly 60% of the same period in 2023, the export turnover exceeded nearly 78%, at more than 828,000 USD. This shows a positive signal in Ford Vietnam's export in particular, and the domestic automobile manufacturing and assembly industry towards export in general.
After the 2024 Tet holiday, from February 15, Ford Hai Duong factory returned to production with 2 shifts/day, estimated capacity of 130 vehicles/day.
