With a near-perfect score of 29.5, the Hahaha team consisting of four members Phan Thi Mo, Lam Thang, Phu Qui and Duong Bao Chau won the title of champion of Laughter Across Vietnam 2024.
On the evening of May 17, the program Laughter Across Vietnam 2024 ended with the final ranking night with the competition of three teams.
They are Hahaha team (including members Phan Thi Mo, Lam Thang, Phu Qui and Duong Bao Chau), Tay Ta Team (Di Duong, Nguyen Chau, Quynh Nhu, Luan Vu) and Tu Sac (Maika, Tat Dieu Hang, Truong Huy, Phuc Zelo).
The final night's judges included artists Minh Nhi, Kieu Oanh and director Vu Thanh Vinh.
At the final night, the Hahaha team performed the show My Western Hometown, which revolved around a rural market with unique cultural features of the river region and the love of the people of the West.
The show brought laughter and fun with the humorous and charming dialogue between the team members and the supporting actors.
Among them, the appearance of artist Huu Quoc surprised the audience. Many people said that convincing him to participate in this competition night was not easy.
Not only singing and dancing, the Hahaha team also made the audience love them with the daring action of Miss Phan Thi Mo.
She hung upside down and held Duong Bao Chau's hand to perform a spin in the air. This dangerous but equally beautiful performance created a highlight for the skit.
In addition, twin sisters Duong Yen Chau and Duong Bao Chau made the audience's heart skip a beat with their high jump.
Meanwhile, Phu Qui showed off his martial arts skills by punching and breaking a chair, which was quite dangerous.
The perfect combination, bringing lots of laughter, helped the Hahaha team win the championship of this year's Laughter Across Vietnam contest.
Tay Ta Team won the runner-up title. Tu Sac Team finished third overall.
Miss Phan Thi Mo said she felt happy because her and her teammates' efforts were rewarded.
"My teammates and I have broken through our limits and done things we never thought we could do before.
This makes us proud but we do not allow ourselves to rest on our laurels" - Phan Thi Mo added.
After the contest Laughing Across Vietnam, Miss Phan Thi Mo is known to the audience with a new role as a comedian. She said she never thought of this, she joined the contest as an experience, a challenge for herself.
When asked after each contest, the winner inevitably faces mixed opinions. Phan Thi Mo said she "cannot please everyone".
So instead of arguing or being sad, she wants to prove her ability through actions and new projects.
