Mr. Dinh Tien Dung ceases to be a National Assembly delegate

On the afternoon of June 25, the National Assembly agreed to let Mr. Dinh Tien Dung resign from his duties as a delegate of the 15th National Assembly for the 2021-2026 term.

The Central Committee agreed to let Mr. Dinh Tien Dung resign from his position as Politburo member and Central Party Committee member.

During his tenure as Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister of Finance for the 2016-2021 term, Mr. Dinh Tien Dung violated the Regulations on what party members are not allowed to do.
The Politburo agreed to let comrade Dinh Tien Dung resign from the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.

On June 19, 2024, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Politburo and the Secretariat met to review and discipline party organizations and party members who committed violations and shortcomings, and agreed to let comrade Dinh Tien Dung resign from the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Proposal to discipline the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Finance for the 2016 - 2021 term

The Central Inspection Committee proposed that competent authorities consider and discipline the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance for the 2016-2021 term and Mr. Dinh Tien Dung.
