A technology company in Germany offers a service to freeze bodies waiting to be revived for 5.5 billion VND, promising to refund the customer when they come back to life after deducting the actual cost.

Ngay sau khi khách hàng qua đời, công ty Tomorrow Bio lập tức bảo quản thi thể trong môi trường không thể phân hủy.
Immediately after the client passes away, Tomorrow Bio immediately preserves the body in a non-decomposable environment.

Tomorrow Bio, a high-tech startup based in Berlin, Germany, is offering a body-freezing service. Many customers are willing to pay a large sum to sign up in the hope that one day in the distant future, they can be revived. Each customer must pay a one-time fee of 222,603 USD (about 5.5 billion VND), plus a monthly maintenance fee of 55 USD (about 1.4 million VND).

"I believe that with the advancement of technology, we can completely preserve corpses and find ways to revive them in the future. This work is opening up a potential path to prolonging human life," Tomorrow Bio co-founder Fernando Azevedo Pinheiro told the media.

The company claims that so far, six people and five pets have used its cryogenic body freezing service. The company has a waiting list of 650 customers with an average age of 36. These people want their bodies to be frozen immediately after death.

“None of them expected to die early, but birth, aging, sickness and death were inevitable.”,Mr. Pinheiro said.

The body preservation process takes place immediately after the customer is confirmed dead by the authorities. Tomorrow Bio uses a specialized ambulance that acts as a mobile freezer to pick up the body for preservation.

According to Pinheiro, the body’s fluids are replaced with medical antifreeze to prevent irreversible tissue damage. The body is left in a cold room for more than a week until its body temperature drops to about -320 degrees Fahrenheit, then stored in a long steel tank of liquid nitrogen, which allows for long-term preservation.

In the future, if a customer is successfully revived like in the sci-fi superhero Captain America, Tomorrow Bio will refund the customer's money after deducting fees and taxes. To increase the attractiveness of its service, the company cited the success of scientists using a similar method to preserve and reuse rabbit kidneys.

“Many customers are visionaries. They are attracted to the prospect of exciting technologies and experiences in the future, such as space travel,” Pinheiro said.
