Gold bar auction canceled again
This is the fourth bidding session and the third time the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has had to cancel a bid.
Very few gold buying and selling transactions in Hai Duong on the day of the gold bar auction
After the State Bank auctioned gold bars on the morning of April 23, gold prices in the Hai Duong market fluctuated in opposite directions and there were very few transactions.
Gold bar auction, will the gold market "dance" less?
This morning, April 22, at the State Foreign Exchange Reserve Management Department (State Bank), nearly 17,000 taels of gold are expected to be auctioned, opening the first auction of SJC branded gold bars after nearly 11 years of suspension.
Gold bar prices in Hai Duong fluctuated slightly before the gold auction.
Before the State Bank organized the gold auction on the morning of April 22, the buying and selling prices of SJC gold bars in the Hai Duong market during the last 2 days of the week fluctuated insignificantly and remained at a high level.
Nearly 17,000 taels of gold bars will be auctioned.
The State Bank will auction 16,800 taels of gold bars on April 22, with a reference price of VND81.8 million - VND2 million lower than today's closing price.
