Today, the Hanoi People's Court brought Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong (former Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade) to trial under the first instance procedure for the crime of 'Abusing position and power while performing official duties'.

Former Deputy Minister Hoang Quoc Vuong is about to appear in court in the case related to EVN.

On April 21, Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong will be tried on charges of creating conditions for businesses to enjoy preferential electricity prices, causing losses to EVN of more than VND1,043 billion.

Former Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong was accused of wrongdoing by creating conditions for businesses to enjoy preferential electricity prices, causing losses to EVN of more than VND1,043 billion.

Violations by former Deputy Minister Nguyen Linh Ngoc led to a loss of more than 600 billion VND.

Major General Hoang Anh Tuyen said that the violations of Mr. Nguyen Linh Ngoc, former Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, led to the illegal exploitation of Thai Duong Group Joint Stock Company, causing the loss of State minerals with an estimated value of over 600 billion VND.
