According to the An Lac Ward Agricultural Service Cooperative (Chi Linh), to serve the 2024 Giap Thin Lunar New Year, the cooperative plans to supply about 20 tons of golden sticky rice to the market.
This amount of rice is equivalent to last year's Tet and can be increased depending on consumer demand.
An Lac Golden Flower Sticky Rice has been recognized as a 3-star OCOP product. The rice is vacuum-packed with a weight of 2kg, packed in bags and boxes with traceability stamps, ensuring all food safety and hygiene conditions.
In 2023, An Lac ward will have 142.5 hectares of yellow sticky rice, an increase of 25.5 hectares compared to 2022. The total output of yellow sticky rice in the ward will reach nearly 700 tons/crop. In addition, the cooperative's sticky rice output is also consumed sporadically throughout the year in the provincial market and some neighboring provinces and cities.
