On both sides of National Highway 18 through Chi Linh City, there are currently some tilted lamp posts, causing insecurity for road users.
A tilted lamppost on Highway 18 through Chi Linh City
At km 42 of Highway 18, through Hoang Tan Ward, at least two lamp posts facing each other were tilted. One was tilted about 15 degrees and had been reinforced with an iron bar screwed into the sidewalk. The iron bar is now rusted and some screws are missing.
Reinforcing the leaning lamp post with iron bars is not safe.
Highway 18 is very busy with people and vehicles. There are many households living on both sides of the highway. It is currently the rainy season. The leaning lamp posts need to be repaired or replaced soon.
