Teacher Pham Thi Nghiem, Thuc Khang Primary School (Binh Giang) is always enthusiastic and responsible in the work of the Youth Union.

After graduating from Hai Duong Pedagogical College, Ms. Nghiem taught at Thuc Khang Primary School. Implementing the campaign "Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, during her years on the podium, Ms. Nghiem constantly strived to set an example for her students. When assigned by the school to be the Team Leader, Ms. Nghiem always researched, learned and organized exciting and useful activities. The school's Youth Union regularly organizes movements with high educational significance such as meetings, talking about traditions, going to "red addresses", taking care of martyrs' cemeteries... Since the 2018-2019 school year, the school's Youth Union has launched the "Free haircut" movement for students and has maintained it until now. After class, any student who needs a haircut will contact Ms. Nghiem to arrange for a teacher in the school to give a free haircut. In addition, the movement of "making stone bridges from chicken feathers" not only contributes to environmental protection but also sells them to raise funds to give gifts to students in difficult circumstances, and has been effectively implemented.

Not only enthusiastic in the movement, Ms. Nghiem is also a teacher with solid expertise. She is always dedicated to her profession, teaching students with a high sense of responsibility. She has researched and applied the topic "Training life skills for students through flag-saluting hour" and has achieved encouraging results. The flag-saluting hour carried out by the school's Union ensures solemnity while creating a lively and close atmosphere for students. The flag-saluting hour with many rich activities such as cultural exchange, training to improve life skills, and talking on topics has motivated students to happily enter the new school week. The country's major holidays are propagated in a vivid visual form right under the flag-saluting ceremony to help students understand easily, thereby arousing patriotism and national pride in each student. The content of the flag-saluting ceremony is attached to each monthly theme in the Union's work program and children's movement for the school year, the school year plan...

Following Uncle Ho's example, Ms. Nghiem also enthusiastically volunteered to do many good deeds such as donating blood, promoting environmental protection... Thanks to her friendly and simple lifestyle, she is always loved and respected by generations of students in the school. For students with difficult circumstances, Ms. Nghiem encourages and helps them financially so that they have the conditions to excel in their studies. She always keeps in mind: "I think about learning and following Uncle Ho not from lofty and great things, but starting from actions, words, attitudes and behaviors in daily work". For many years, Ms. Nghiem has been recognized as an excellent teacher at the provincial and district levels.

Ms. Bui Thi Dien, Deputy Secretary of Binh Giang District Youth Union, said: "Ms. Nghiem is the General Leader of the Team, always taking the lead in Team activities launched by all levels, and at the same time advising the school's Board of Directors to build many practical activities, attracting many students to participate, promoting the movement of studying and following Uncle Ho at the work unit."

Thanks to her efforts, Ms. Nghiem received many certificates of merit from the province and district for her work in the Youth Union and school movements.
