Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2023 Officially Launched

“Returning to the capital Hanoi, we continue to bring the message of ‘Shaping The Future’ with the hope of spreading the spirit of sustainable fashion development, thinking together, finding new ways to change every day. This is not only a trend but also the future of Vietnamese fashion.”

Chairwoman of the Association of Southeast Asian Fashion Designers (CAFD) and Chairwoman of Vietnam International Fashion Week, Ms. Trang Le shared this at the press conference introducing Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2023, which took place on the afternoon of October 26.

Accordingly, the event will officially take place from November 8-11, at Quan Ngua Sports Palace, Hanoi, with the desire to continue to orient the future of Vietnamese fashion. The program will continue to write the story of sustainable fashion with the theme "Shaping the Future", honoring natural and environmentally friendly materials.

And above all, the program organizers also want to aim for a more modern and youthful color. Through the skillful hands of designers and prestigious domestic and international fashion brands, this year's collections are expected to touch the hearts of fashionistas.

Ms. Trang Le said that the "Wave Silk" collection by designer Vu Viet Ha will open the Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2023. This is a walk with silk material, thereby spreading a lifestyle that is both trendy and sustainable to the community.

In addition, the designer who will close the show this time is Adrian Anh Tuan. With a romantic fashion language, the designs from the Valenciani brand promise to be meticulously displayed in every stitch.

The 16th season of Vietnam International Fashion Week also brings together familiar faces such as designer Ivan Tran, designer Thao Nguyen, designer Hoang Quyen, designer Prio Oktaviano (Indonesia), designer Cao Minh Tien, designer Henry Kof...

Notably, the return of designer Xuan Thu Nguyen (Netherlands) with the brand XUAN - the first Vietnamese designer invited by the French Haute Couture Federation to participate in Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week; young designer Phan Dang Hoang has just left many impressions at Milan Fashion Week with a collection inspired by the long-standing craft villages in his homeland Vietnam.

“This is the 16th time Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week has been held and also the 6th time we have returned to the capital Hanoi. Having gone through 15 seasons together, it can be said that this period of time is not too long but not too short for Vietnamese fashion to have a certain position on the international fashion map. Today, we can be proud to look back on the journey together to bring Vietnamese fashion to a stronger voice in the region and the world,” Ms. Trang Le shared.
