Many heritage and ancient trees in Hai Duong have not been periodically pruned, causing a high risk of breaking and falling during the storm season.
The 300-year-old heritage Bodhi tree that was uprooted in Kim Tan (Kim Thanh) has been replanted.
On the afternoon of June 4, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khoi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Kim Tan Commune (Kim Thanh), said that after 1 day of restoration, the more than 300-year-old heritage Bodhi tree in Hai Ninh village, Kim Tan commune was re-erected and replanted.

The Bodhi tree in Hamlet 5, Hai Ninh Village, Kim Tan Commune, recognized by the Vietnam Heritage Tree Council (Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment) as the first heritage tree in Kim Thanh District in September 2022, was uprooted on the afternoon of June 3.
