A witness said that at the time of the landslide, a 16-seater car and a 7-seater car were traveling through the area. The 7-seater car avoided the landslide, but the other car got stuck. Three people in the 7-seater car got out to help push the 16-seater car when another landslide struck, burying them under a layer of dirt and rocks.
The entire road surface was buried with rocks and soil, 150 m long, 15 m high, 20 m wide.
