Thanh Ha District Party Secretary Trinh Van Thien holds the position of Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial Farmers' Association

On the afternoon of October 18, comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee attended and presented the transfer decision to comrade Trinh Van Thien, new Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association.

Comrade Trinh Van Thien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Ha district, was assigned by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to work at the Provincial Farmers' Association to run for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and the position of Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term X, 2023-2028.

At the 10th Congress of the Farmers' Association of Hai Duong province for the 2023-2028 term, which took place on October 16-17, comrade Trinh Van Thien was elected to the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Farmers' Association of the province and was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of the 10th term.

Speaking at the assignment of tasks to comrade Trinh Van Thien, comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang stated that comrade Trinh Van Thien has held many positions and has worked in the district for a long time, so he has a lot of experience. He hopes that in his new position, comrade Trinh Van Thien will promote his experience, capacity, and strengths, promote the spirit of solidarity, and together with the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, develop the association's work and the farmers' movement.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Farmers' Association of Hai Duong province to create conditions for comrade Trinh Van Thien to successfully complete his tasks.

Receiving the instructions and tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang, comrade Trinh Van Thien promised to try to study, learn, and strive with the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association to successfully implement the goals set by the 10th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress, term 2023-2028.

Comrade Trinh Van Thien was born in 1975, from Thanh Thuy commune (Thanh Ha); is a doctor of economics, senior political theorist. He has held many positions, such as: Head of Finance - Planning Department of Thanh Ha district, Permanent Vice Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee; Deputy Secretary of District Party Committee, Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee; Secretary of District Party Committee, Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Council.
