July 16,Tho Xuan District Policehas just prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused and temporarily detained Trinh Dinh Phong (born in 1982), Trinh Dinh Tien (born in 1995, all residing in Xuan Thien commune, Tho Xuan district) and Nguyen Van Tuan (born in 1980, residing in Dinh Lien commune, Yen Dinh district) for the act of lending at high interest rates in civil transactions.

Previously, in the second phase of the fight against black credit crimes, Tho Xuan District Police investigated and arrested Trinh Dinh Phong and Trinh Dinh Tien. Searching the residence of the two subjects, the investigation agency seized 16 loan documents, 1 car, 3 motorbikes and many related exhibits.
Through initial investigation, from the end of 2022 until their arrest, the above 2 subjects lent 19 people in Xuan Thien commune and neighboring communes about 730 million VND, with an interest rate of 3,000 - 5,000 VND/1 million/1 day, illegally earning over 200 million VND.
Through further investigation, Tho Xuan District Police determined that, with the aim of expanding their area of operation, Phong and Tien colluded with Nguyen Van Tuan to open a pawnshop in Dinh Lien Commune to operate loan sharking.
Searching Tuan's residence, Tho Xuan District Police seized 3 books recording loan transactions, 10 motorbikes, 1 car and many related documents.
According to the police, from 2021 until his arrest, Tuan lent nearly 150 people in Dinh Lien commune and neighboring communes about 1 billion VND, with an interest rate of 3,000 - 5,000 VND/1 million/1 day, illegally earning more than 400 million VND.
The case is being further investigated and clarified by Tho Xuan District Police.
