Cong Thuong Publishing House and Thai Ha Books Company have just released nationwide two books by Dr. Tran Quoc Khanh, currently working at the Department of Spinal Surgery, Viet Duc Hospital.

He regularly shares common medical knowledge on his Fanpage with tens of thousands of followers. Therefore, Master Tran Quoc Khanh is also known by many people as the “thousand-like” doctor.

Doctor Tran Quoc Khanh said that the two books “Where the light never goes out” and “The best doctor of my family” are his brainchildren, “conceived” over the course of 5 years.

“Where the light never goes out” tells true stories that touched and inspired him from the early days of his journey to heal and save people.

“The lights in the operating room of the hospital where I work have never been turned off to illuminate surgeries. It is also the light of faith and hope for countless families who are waiting outside that cold door,” Dr. Khanh shared.

In addition, this book also tells about his poor childhood in his hometown Nghe An and his determination to overcome difficulties to realize his dream of becoming a doctor. Therefore, this book can also inspire and motivate young people who want to pursue a medical career.

The book “The Best Doctor in My Family” is a collection of articles about health care and diseases that we often encounter in daily life. The content in the book is drawn from real stories that he has experienced over the years.

Without going into prescription or treatment instructions, the book only focuses on guiding people on how to recognize health problems and especially preventive solutions. With a gentle, humorous, and friendly writing style, this is a useful handbook for everyone to take care of and improve the health of themselves and their family members.

Dr. Khanh expressed his hope that when reading these two books, people will feel how fragile life is. Through this, the compassion in each of us will be aroused so that we can see that we need to cherish every moment of life, and live a meaningful and kind life.

“With more than 10 years of working, I have encountered many cases where patients were brought to the hospital too late and could not be cured. Life is to give, not just to receive. My journey of consulting and sharing about community health will always continue and will only stop when this heart stops beating, because this is the mission and joy of a doctor,” the author shared.
