Northern region has drizzle and scattered fog in the morning

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on March 9, the North and the capital Hanoi will be cloudy, with light rain, drizzle and scattered fog in the morning and at night, with the highest temperature ranging from 18 to 21 degrees Celsius. It will be cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold. The Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.

At sea, during the day and night of March 9, the southern sea area between the East Sea and the South East Sea (including the Truong Sa sea area) and the sea area from Binh Dinh to Ca Mau will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; during thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

From March 10, the wind in the above sea areas tends to decrease gradually. The risk of natural disasters due to strong winds at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by tornadoes, strong winds and big waves.

Northwest

- Cloudy, some rain, early morning fog in some places, especially in the Northwest region, sunny in the afternoon. Light wind; cold weather; especially in Lai Chau and Dien Bien, cold weather.

- Lowest temperature 15 - 18 degrees Celsius, some places below 14 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 19 - 22 degrees Celsius; in the Northwest region, some places above 23 degrees Celsius.

Northeast

- Cloudy, light rain, drizzle and scattered fog in the morning and at night. Light wind. Cold weather, severe cold in mountainous areas.

- Lowest temperature 15 - 18 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 14 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 18 - 21 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi capital

- Cloudy, light rain, drizzle and scattered fog in the morning and at night. Light wind; cold.

- Lowest temperature 16 - 18 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 18 - 20 degrees Celsius.
