83.6% of religious establishments in Cam Giang have been granted land use right certificates.

To date, 92/110 religious establishments in Cam Giang district have been granted land use right certificates, reaching 83.6%, higher than the general rate of the whole province (the whole province has 906/1,138 religious establishments granted land use right certificates, reaching 79.6%).

Cam Giang currently has 18 religious establishments completing their application for land use right certificates because the pagoda was built in the same area as the communal house or village cultural house, so the boundary has not been determined to request land use right certificates. In the district, there is still a situation of expanding the premises of religious establishments not in accordance with regulations, carried out in the form of donation, requesting to change the purpose of use. In some places, there is encroachment, leading to difficulties in land management and granting land use right certificates.

In addition, the Law on Belief and Religion is related to many other laws and regulations on land, construction, residence, health care, education, humanitarian charity, cultural heritage, etc., but there are no unified implementation guidelines, causing difficulties for state management of belief and religious activities.

The People's Committee of Cam Giang district requested the province to direct departments and branches to coordinate with the People's Committee of the district to resolve issues related to land origin for religious establishments to issue land use right certificates, facilitating management. Requested the province to support funding for the restoration and renovation of relics ranked at provincial and national levels in the district such as Giam Pagoda, Thach Loi Communal House, etc.
