Construction time of this route is from now until 2025.
The route connecting Phap Van-Cau Gie Expressway with Ring Road 3 is 3.4 km long, with a total investment of VND3,241 billion from the city budget.
The main road cross-section width is 60m, including 6 motor vehicle lanes of 3.5m, 2 mixed lanes on 2 parallel urban roads of 7m.
The main items of the project include Tu Hiep semi-asterisk intersection; the road section from Tu Hiep to Ring Road 3; the intersection with Ring Road 3; technical infrastructure, drainage, trees, lighting, and service roads.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan said that the investment project is a very important traffic project with the goal of completing the traffic infrastructure system according to the planning, solving traffic congestion at Phap Van intersection - the southern gateway of the capital.
After completion of construction, the road connecting Phap Van-Cau Gie Expressway with Ring Road 3 will also contribute to ensuring traffic safety and order for the inner city area, promoting socio-economic development for Hoang Mai district, Thanh Tri district and the southern and southeastern areas of the central area of Hanoi. Therefore, the implementation of investment and construction of the project is extremely necessary and urgent.
In order to complete the project on schedule and ensure quality, the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested departments, branches and construction units to strictly comply with regulations on investment and construction procedures, standards and processes.
The construction unit minimizes the impact of construction on the lives of people in the area, especially paying attention to organizing traffic to ensure smooth and safe traffic during project implementation.
