Jubilant Festival "Hai Duong – the City of Love"

Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hien and the delegates visited the sunflower garden

In the morning of 20th October, in the sunflower garden in Tan Binh ward, Hai Duong city, the festival "Hai Duong - the city of love" was opened.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the festival, Comrade Tran Ho Dang, Chairman of Hai Duong City People's Committee emphasized that this is an event to welcome the 17th Hai Duong Province Party Congress of the 2020-2025 term, commemorating 216 years of establishing Thanh Dong (1804-2020) and 66 years of liberation of the City (30th October 1954 - 30th October 2020). The festival creates a fascinating and attractive space, arousing love for the homeland, pride of the civilized and heroic Eastern land from the party members, officers and all classes of people; contributing to the propaganda and education about the glorious and proud traditions of Hai Duong city in the process of construction and development.

Festival Opening Performance by the children of Hai Duong city 

After a brief, solemn opening, delegates and people visited the blooming sunflower garden of over 1 hectare, witnessing a vibrant folk dance performance under the music of the song "Hai Duong shining bright with flowers ”performed by 500 students.

The festival takes place for 10 days, from 20th to 30th October, with a series of special and attractive cultural, art and sports events such as: Open Folk Dance Festival, Thanh Dong Health Sports Tournament, Band Festival featuring famous artists ... Attending the festival, people and visitors will be infatuated with the food stalls, unique local products located near the sunflower garden.

Under the music of the song "Hai Duong shining brightly with flowers", the students' performance was very exciting, impressing viewers.

In the framework of the festival, there’s the program "Gratitude from the heart: Glory to the Frontline Soldiers" to honor and thank the forces and achievements obtained in the Covid - 19 prevention and fighting by Hai Duong city.
