Team 1 (Center for Aquatic Sports Training, Coaching, and Competition) wins the mixed 500m event
The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on the morning of September 8 ((15th (full moon) day of 8th lunar month) held the Boat Race Tournament at Kiep Bac relic (Chi Linh provincial town, Hai Duong province) to welcome the 2014 Con Son – Kiep Bac Autumn Festival.
40 rowers from four teams under the provincial Center for Aquatic Sports Training, Coaching, and Competition competed in mixed 200m and 500m events.
* 16 artisans from the water puppet troupe of Bui Thuong hamlet, Le Loi commune (Gia Loc district), on September 8 performed a special water puppet show with 16 narratives, such as Teu's prelude, letting off firecrackers and springing flags, fairies offering betel, opening of village's communal house festival, etc. at the lake in Kiep Bac temple.
The performance program of Le Loi commune's water puppet troupe will take place until the end of September 11 (i.e. 18th day of 8th lunar month).

* To ensure security, order, and traffic safety for visitors to and during Con Son – Kiep Bac Autumn Festival, Chi Linh provincial town Police since late August has arranged forces of guides and coordinators at key junctions, such as Sao Do T-junction, the T-junction of the approach to the relic site, etc.
Since September 3, 33 officers and soldiers have been mobilized by the Town Police and sent to intensify patrols and control along national highways 18 and 37 and the approaches to relics in collaborate with the Rail and Road Traffic Police Divisions (PD) (provincial Police); arrangement and guidance to traffic in parking lots to prevent congestion have been done; and coordination with the Waterway Traffic PD (provincial Police) to arrange one boat and two canoes to assure the traffic safety on the Luc Dau river during the battle reenactment festival.
33 other officers and soldiers, divided into two focal teams have been asigned by the Town Police to be on regular duty at the two famous relics of Kiep Bac and Con Son.
A permanent force at Kiep Bac temple, propagandized vigilance heightening, fire and explosion prevention and fighting during the festival, etc. to the people have also arranged by the Fire Prevention and Fighting PD.
