Central Party Secretariat, 13th tenure

On August 16, 2024, the 13th Party Central Committee elected 3 additional members to the Secretariat. Thus, by August 16, 2024, the Party Central Committee Secretariat has 12 members.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet (from Thanh Ha, Hai Duong) was elected as a member of the Central Party Secretariat.

On August 16, the 13th Central Executive Committee elected Senior Lieutenant General and Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang as a member of the Politburo and elected three members of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, including Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; and Le Minh Tri, Chief of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang was elected as a member of the Politburo.

On August 16, the Party Central Committee elected additional members of the Politburo, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security; and elected additional members of the Secretariat, three comrades.
