Meanwhile, the price of SJC 4-digit 9 gold bars was listed in Hanoi at VND73.4 million per tael for buying and VND74.42 million per tael for selling.
The price of SJC gold bars traded at DOJI Hanoi on December 18 ended at 73.3 million VND per tael for buying and 74.35 million VND per tael for selling.
The international spot gold price on Kitco floor at 9:23 p.m. on December 18, Vietnam time was at 2,022.2 USD per ounce. Meanwhile, the gold futures price was at 2,039.6 USD per ounce.

On the stock market, at the end of the trading session on December 18, VN-Index decreased by 10.42 points to 1,091.88 points. HNX-Index decreased by 1.29 points to 225.73 points. UPCoM-Index decreased by 0.17 points to 84.88 points with 109 stocks increasing and 117 stocks decreasing.
The central exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the US dollar announced by the State Bank on December 18 was 23,883 VND/USD, up 1 VND compared to the previous session. The USD price at commercial banks on December 18 increased quite rapidly, at the end of the session it was listed around 24,110-24,480 VND/USD (buy - sell).
Meanwhile, the world USD price tends to go down. The DXY index - measuring the strength of the USD compared to 6 major currencies - at 9:16 p.m. on December 18, Vietnam time was at 102.45 points, down 0.1% compared to the previous session.
Oil prices on the international market today, December 19, continued to rise due to concerns about supply disruptions. Brent crude oil prices exceeded 78 USD per barrel while WTI crude oil prices reached 73 USD per barrel.
In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today, December 19, are applied according to the prices at the management session on the afternoon of December 14 of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, gasoline prices were adjusted down, in which RON 95 gasoline continued to decrease for the 5th consecutive time.
Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline dropped to VND20,510 per liter. The price of RON95 gasoline dropped to VND21,400 per liter. The price of diesel oil dropped to VND19,010 per liter. The price of kerosene oil dropped to VND19,960 per liter.
