Gasoline prices increase, RON95-III exceeds 19,600 VND per liter

Domestic gasoline prices increased simultaneously from 3:00 p.m. today.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, from 3:00 p.m. on April 24, the ceiling price of E5RON92 gasoline is 19,238 VND/liter, an increase of 740 VND/liter compared to the current price; the new price of RON95-III gasoline is 19,638 VND/liter, an increase of 782 VND/liter.

Also in this adjustment period, diesel price increased by 487 VND/liter, up to 17,524 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 531 VND/liter, the new price is 17,715 VND/liter and mazut oil added 564 VND, up to 16,524 VND/kg.

During this operating period, the inter-ministerial committee did not set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

Previously, gasoline prices had decreased twice in a row. Most recently (April 17), E5 RON92 gasoline prices decreased by VND384/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND351/liter, diesel oil decreased by VND206, kerosene decreased by VND229/liter, but fuel oil increased by VND58/kg.

The world oil market in the past 7 days has been affected by many factors such as the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) providing information on increased US crude oil reserves; President Donald Trump's administration changing taxes on goods from trading partners; OPEC+ oil production is expected to increase in the coming time...

The above factors caused the world oil price to fluctuate, the average price of finished products per barrel of RON 95 gasoline was 77.3 USD, up 5%. Similarly, the price of each barrel of diesel and kerosene increased by about 3 - 3.4%. The price of fuel oil also increased by 4.2% to 440.4 USD/ton.
