Gasoline prices have dropped sharply, RON95-III is close to 19,000 VND per liter
Prices of petroleum products have dropped sharply since 3pm today, while the Stabilization Fund remains unchanged, with no deductions.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, from 3:00 p.m. on April 10, the ceiling price of E5RON92 gasoline is 18,882 VND/liter, down 1,491 VND/liter compared to the current price; RON95-III gasoline has a new price of 19,207 VND/liter, down 1,712 VND/liter.
Also in this adjustment period, diesel price decreased by 1,235 VND/liter, to 17,243 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 1,322 VND/liter, the new price is 17,413 VND/liter and mazut decreased by 1,124 VND, to 15,902 VND/kg.
During this operating period, the inter-ministerial committee did not set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.
This is the first reduction after gasoline prices have increased three times in a row. Most recently (April 3), E5 RON92 gasoline prices increased by VND341/liter; RON95-III gasoline increased by VND495/liter, diesel increased by VND261, kerosene increased by VND211/liter and fuel oil increased by VND124/kg.
The world oil market in the past 7 days has been affected by many factors such as the increase in US crude oil inventories, the country also announced a 10% tax on all imported goods..., causing world oil prices to drop sharply, the average price of finished products per barrel of RON 95 gasoline is 75.3 USD, down 11.2%. Similarly, the price per barrel of diesel and kerosene also dropped to 79.5 USD and 79.7 USD, both down about 9%.
