Sudden cold weather, many elderly people and children had to be hospitalized

At the Respiratory Department (Provincial General Hospital), during the days before Tet At Ty, the number of elderly patients hospitalized for treatment increased by 50% compared to the same period last year.

Hospitalized patients are aged 60 and over, suffering from respiratory diseases due to the sudden cold weather.

Patient Nguyen Dac Cai (64 years old) in Kien Phuc commune (Ninh Giang) suffered from severe respiratory failure and low survival rate. He was promptly treated by the medical team of the Provincial General Hospital and has overcome the critical stage.
