An accident is an unexpected event caused by an external agent that causes physical or mental damage to the victim.
In Vietnam, during the period 2019 - 2023, on average each year there are more than 1.1 million cases of injuries and accidents coming to medical facilities for examination and treatment and more than 30,000 people die from injuries and accidents. Injuries and accidents not only cause great loss of life but also create a significant economic and social burden.
