Israel orders immediate evacuation of residents in suburbs of Lebanese capital
An Israeli military spokesman issued a new emergency warning to residents of southern neighborhoods, especially those inside the building marked on the Borj El Brajneh district map.

On the morning of October 5, the Israeli army issued three warnings asking people in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut to evacuate immediately.
In the first statement, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee issued a new emergency warning to residents of southern neighborhoods, especially those inside the building marked on the Borj El Brajneh district map.
The official also released satellite imagery of the Borj El Brajneh district, pinpointing a building believed to be linked to Hezbollah.
The second alert asked residents of a building in the Choueifat district to evacuate, while the third alert covered buildings in the Burj al-Barajneh and Haret Hreik areas.
The airstrikes on Beirut came as the Israeli military stepped up military operations against Hezbollah forces in Lebanon.
In another development, on the same day, media affiliated with the Islamic Hamas Movement reported that an Israeli airstrike on a Palestinian refugee camp in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli killed Saeed Atallah, a senior member of the movement's al-Qassam Brigade, and three family members. Israel has yet to respond to the information.
Previously, on October 4, the al-Qassam brigade confirmed that field commander Zahi Yaser Oufi and seven other Hamas members were killed in an October 3 Israeli airstrike on the city of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank.
