Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Quang Phuc visited and gave gifts to the elderly in Tu Ky
On the morning of October 1, comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee visited and presented gifts to 3 outstanding elderly people in Tu Ky district.
Comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc visited and presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to the following elders: Chu Thi Don (born in 1922, in O Me village, Hung Dao commune); Pham Thi Tam (born in 1923, in Ngoc Chan village, Tai Son commune); Nguyen Thi Hay (born in 1921, in Dong Phong village, Binh Lang commune). Each gift included 2.5 million VND and in-kind items.
At the places he visited, comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc visited and wished the elders good health, to be a solid support for their children and grandchildren, and to continue to promote the role of "old age, a shining example" for the next generation to follow.
On this occasion, Tu Ky district also presented each outstanding elderly person visited by the delegation with a gift of 1 million VND and gifts in kind; and presented 46 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to elderly people in difficult circumstances in the district.

On this occasion, the Association of the Elderly in communes and towns in the district also organized many activities to care for the elderly such as coordinating medical examinations, health consultations, visiting and giving gifts to people in difficult circumstances...
* On this occasion,Thanh Ha District Medical Centercoordinated with communes in the district to organize health check-ups for 4,424 people aged 60 and over in the district. This program is carried out annually by Thanh Ha District Medical Center to help detect potential diseases early.
