Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc from Hai Duong joins the Editorial Advisory Board of a prestigious international journal

Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc, from An Phu ward, Kinh Mon town (Hai Duong), is the first Vietnamese to join the Editorial Advisory Board of the international journal Acta Mechanica.

Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc, from An Phu ward, Kinh Mon town (Hai Duong), has just officially represented Vietnam to become a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the long-standing and prestigious international ISI journal of mechanics: Acta Mechanica.

Professor Duc will officially join the Editorial Advisory Board from October 1, term 2024-2027.

Accordingly, Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc will be responsible for reviewing and peer-reviewing the articles, sending them to peer reviewers worldwide for comments and then deciding whether to publish the articles or not.

"Normally, the selection of scientists listed in the journal is based on their achievements and scientific contributions in this field. Up to this point, I am the first Vietnamese person to be included in the prestigious journal Acta Mechanica," said Professor Duc.

Founded in 1965 in Austria and published by Springer, Acta Mechanica has become one of the leading journals in the field of theoretical and applied mechanics.

The editors and editorial advisory board of the journal are famous and prestigious scientists from 27 countries and territories around the world including: Austria, USA, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Italy, Netherlands, Canada, Sweden, Belgium, Norway, Poland, Japan, China, Russia, India, Singapore, Taiwan (China), Greece, Iran, Turkey, Israel, Serbia, Czech Republic, Cuba, Slovenia, Hong Kong (China) and most recently Vietnam with the representative Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc.

Previously, on September 17, Elsevier Publishing House also announced the ranking of influential scientists in the world. Accordingly, Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc is one of 9 Vietnamese scientists currently working in the top 10,000 most influential scientists in the world.

Over the years, Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc has consistently made it onto this list. In 2024, Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc ranked 78th in the engineering field.

In March 2024, Professor Nguyen Dinh Duc also officially became a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Aerospace Science and Technology. This is one of the leading international journals in the SCI index, in the top 5%, with high prestige and quality in the field of science, engineering and aerospace technology.
